Description of the educational program:

The educational program “Economics” is aimed at implementing the mission and strategic plan of the University, providing educational services in the field of higher and postgraduate education, providing highly qualified specialists in the field of business and economics for the sustainable economic development of the country, including the Mangistau region. The goal of the educational program is the implementation of education based on a competency-based approach, as well as the training of highly educated, competitive, competent professional personnel in the field of business and economics, capable of becoming leaders in their chosen professional activities and competitive in the labor market.

 

The uniqueness of the educational program “Economics”. Firstly, business analysis as a modern trend in higher professional economic education of the new generation, substantiates the innovative aspects of the educational program in business analysis, which form the most important qualification characteristics of the modern in-demand professions of financial analyst and business analyst.

In this regard, the educational program reflects the main competitive advantages of the business analyst profession, as well as the objective need for inclusion in the educational program to study this trajectory.

Secondly, the Mangistau region is the only one in Kazakhstan that has access to the Caspian Sea, which implies the development of foreign economic relations with the Caspian states – Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, and the Russian Federation. The study of the economies and trade and economic relations of the neighboring countries of the Caspian region is a feature of the educational program and an important aspect for the future graduate of this educational program in the context of the development of international economic relations and due to the involvement of Kazakhstan in the global world space.

Consequently, the educational program “Economics” was developed taking into account the development of modern trends in the economy, as well as the specifics of the Mangistau region, thereby giving it regional characteristics and is implemented along two learning paths:

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM 7M04103-ECONOMICS

 

Description of the educational program:

The training of undergraduates is focused both on practical activities in companies, banks and other organizations, and on the activities of development institutes, ministries and departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The content of the educational master’s program allows you to acquire competencies in the use of management decision-making methods; in matters of economic reforms in the Republic of Kazakhstan; in matters of economic development of the country; in matters of methods of teaching economic disciplines.

The uniqueness of the educational program:

– mastering by undergraduates of fundamental courses at the intersection of sciences, guaranteeing them professional mobility;

– mastering by undergraduates of the most important and stable knowledge, providing a high level of intellectual development, mastering moral, ethical and legal norms, culture of thinking, development of creative potential, initiative and innovation;

– training of specialists with a high level of professional culture, including the culture of professional communication, having a civic position, able to formulate and solve modern scientific and practical problems, successfully carry out pedagogical, research and management activities.

Special training of undergraduates in modern research methods, economics, innovation, project methods in science and the basics of economics and management in the scientific field allows graduates to work as managers in the field of economics and production.

OP “Economics” develops unique knowledge, skills and abilities at the junction of four areas: economics, management, information technology (digital economy) and economic analysis at micro and macro levels, management decision-making, including:

– planning and forecasting of economic processes;

– skills of complex analysis of efficiency, optimization and automation of business processes;

– making managerial decisions based on economic analysis methods and computer technologies.

Constant monitoring of the quality of training and the effectiveness of training, improvement of equipment and content of disciplines.

Description of the educational program:

The educational program 8D04103-Economics is designed to obtain learning outcomes defined on the basis of the third level of Dublin descriptors and expressed through competencies. The special competence of the program is determined taking into account the social needs of employers, teachers, graduates and society in accordance with the requirements of the state standard of compulsory education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Doctoral studies are one of the stages of postgraduate education in order to train highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical workers to obtain a PhD degree. The task of doctoral studies is to create the necessary conditions for the completion of research and the defense of a doctoral dissertation by the most active scientists, doctors of sciences who have significant scientific results based on them.

The purpose of the educational program “Economics”:

– systematic understanding of one’s field of study and mastery of research methods related to this field;

– the ability to think through, plan the implementation and application of the research process with scientific reliability;
